Hey there! We’re Tatyana and Anthony Monzón

We run Films About Artists,  a small documentary production company based in Seattle, WA.

We help artists, galleries and creative communities tell their stories through documentary film and photography. Basically, if it’s about art, we want to capture it, not just to document, but to connect, to bring people closer to the artists, the process, and the emotions behind the work.

At our core, we are thoughtful and collaborative, we strive to create films that are honest, immersive, and deeply human. We’re not an intimidating film crew—we’re a two-person team that works closely with artists to create films that feel real, personal, and meaningful. Whether we’re filming an exhibition, capturing an artist in their studio, or documenting a community event, our goal is always the same: to make art felt, not just seen.

What we do and offer:

  • Documentary Film Production

  • Event & Fine Art Photography

  • Story and Artist Brand Consultations

  • Artist Interviews & Community Partnerships

  • We are always on the look-out for artists and community leaders who have compelling stories to tell. However, our short documentaries are typically commissioned by artists themselves, galleries, non-profits or funded through grants.

  • Of course! Tatyana is a skilled fine art photographer who has documented artwork in a wide variety of mediums in various spaces — from studio shoots to large-scale installations.

  • Our pricing is flexible, and we offer payment plans to keep our services accessible. Rates start at:
